CHBA's Sector Transition Strategy

CHBA's Sector Transition Strategy provides solutions to the barriers preventing Canada from more than doubling housing starts over the next decade and building the 5.8 million homes we need to fix the housing supply gap and improve housing affordability.

Federal Government Consultations

CHBA participates in numerous federal government consultations on issues related to housing, and speaks to various federal bodies and agencies. CHBA supports a coordinated, three-level approach to developing housing policy, which reflects the reality that every level of government affects housing.

CHBA On The Hill

Each year, the Canadian Home Builders’ Association Day on the Hill brings together Ministers, Members of Parliament and home building industry leaders from across Canada to discuss the importance of housing to Canadians and communities. The 2024 Day on the Hill took place February 6 in Ottawa.

Municipal Benchmarking Study

CHBA's study examines how local development processes, approvals, and charges contribute to housing affordability and supply issues in major housing markets.
